Advice For Travellers

Why purchase annual travel insurance?
If you travel more than once a year, annual travel insurance may provide the most cost effective solution to cover all your trips and leaves you with one less thing to think about when organising your travel. Arranging annual travel insurance is simple with just one premium to pay – a small price for the peace of mind it provides.

What does an annual insurance policy cover?
An annual policy lasts for one year and you can take as many trips/holidays as you wish during that year. Any individual trip or holiday must not last longer than 31 consecutive days. If you choose to travel overseas for a period exceeding the duration stated in your policy you will need to take out a Single Trip policy for that particular trip.

Will I be covered for travel worldwide?
When purchasing annual travel insurance you will be asked which regions you would like to be covered for – United Kingdom; Europe (including Channel Islands, Egypt & Turkey); Australia and New Zealand; Worldwide excluding USA & Canada and Worldwide including USA & Canada. Depending on the area covered the cost of your cover will alter.

Will I be covered for wintersports?
Winter Sports cover for a maximum of 17 days during the year for which you are insured is available for an additional premium. Business cover and Golf cover for a maximum of 31 days in total for the whole year are also available at an additional premium.

Who is covered under my annual insurance policy?
Annual insurance policies can provide cover for an individual, a couple, a family or a group of named individuals.

All claims are always subject to the terms and conditions of your policy.
